The UAE carried out its 81st aerial aid operation on Tuesday to help ease suffering and hunger in Gaza.
The mission in conjunction with Jordan included the participation of Germany and Indonesia. Military transport aircraft dropped packages comprising food and medical supplies provided by charities within the UAE. Aid sent in the UAE's Operation Gallant Knight 3 now totals 4,068 tonnes.
These initiatives, state news agency Wam said, highlight the UAE's role in international relief efforts, “mobilising regional and international co-operation and reinforcing the nation's approach of giving to alleviate the suffering of those affected by crises”.
