New restaurant Hanaaya has just opened on the ground floor of Jumeirah Mina A’Salam in Dubai. The restaurant replaces Al Muna restaurant after a complete refurbishment of the venue.

Hanaaya, which means Happiness in Arabic, is open for lunch and dinner and serves an array of international dishes in a setting filled with natural light, featuring Arabic décor. The restaurant has a newly expanded terrace with outdoor seating that overlooks the Madinat Jumeirah lagoon and turtle sanctuary.

Dirk Haltenhof, resort executive chef at Madinat Jumeirah, says: “At Hanaaya, we take an interactive approach to dining that encourages guests to enjoy talking about great food with chefs that know and love the dishes they are preparing. This enables diners to make new flavour discoveries and engage with our chefs.”

The brunch at Mina A’Salam has also been revamped and now includes liquid nitrogen desserts. It will include new bites from Hanaaya as well as food from neighbouring restaurant Tortuga.

Hanaaya is open daily for buffet lunch and dinner from 12:30 to 3:30pm and from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. À la carte options are also available. www.madinatjumeirah.com.
