Like many things, the 2021 awards season is like none that have come before it. Virtual ceremonies, Zoom acceptance speeches, several venues – film academies around the world have had to adapt to a pandemic-safe approach, with social distancing and Covid-19 safety protocols taken into consideration. The Bafta Awards 2021 are no different.

The awards have been split across two nights, with an opening night taking place on Saturday, recognising the behind-the-scenes work and craft of filmmaking.

The main event is taking place on Monday night and already, stars are walking the socially distanced red carpet at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
