Three parks and four community squares at a cost of Dh47 million are to be built in the emirate, Dubai Municipality announced.
Hussain Lootah, director general of the municipality, said the parks would be in Al Garhoud, Al Mizhar 2 and Nad Al Sheba 2; while the squares will be in Al Twar 2, Al Muhaisnah 1, Al Warqa 3 and Al Muhaisnah 2. The municipality was keen to continue efforts to increase green spaces and improve landscaping in the emirate to ensure environmental balance amid the urban growth.
The parks will add to the aesthetic appearance of Dubai as an attractive tourist destination and will cater to the needs of all age groups and needs.
