Myriam Fares will top an all-star bill of Arabic talent performing a series of free concerts over two nights in Dubai.

The Lebanese starlet will be joined by Waleed El Shami, Shamma Hamdan and Khalid Fouad, performing at gigs hosted at Dubai Parks and Resorts, April 6-7.

The theme park complex, which lies to the south of Dubai, might be best known as the home of Legoland Dubai, Bollywood Parks and Motiongate Dubai, but now the space is breaking out into the live music business with this first festival-style event. The stage will be set at the site’s Amazium Plaza, in front of Motiongate Dubai.

All eyes will especially be on Fares, the 33-year-old star who set records on music streaming service Anghami, clocking both the most played artist and most played album, for her fifth LP Aman.

Fares and El Shami will perform on the opening night, Thursday April 6, from 8pm until 11pm, with Hamdan and Fouad following onto the stage at the same times on Friday April 7.

Guests arriving for the concerts can park for free after 6.30pm.
