It sounds almost too good to be true — two A-list dance music names headlining a single night, under the stars, on the beach — and all for free.
Basement Jaxx and Armand Van Helden will both be dropping tunes at Barasti on Friday, December 9, a monster bill that won’t cost you a dirham.
The night forms the middle of three parties as part of the long-standing beach bar’s Stay True Weekender.
The festivities kick off on Thursday, December 8, with resident DJs from 6pm, before UK remix team Buzz Junkies headline the opening night, onstage around midnight.
Temperatures will rise on Friday, December 9, with vintage UK house duo Basement Jaxx onstage at 11pm, before American heavyweight Van Helden takes over at 1am.
The festival closes on Saturday, December 10, with an afternoon set from Berlin decksmith Lovra, from 2pm.
