Music stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Lucky Ali will co-headline a special acoustic concert in Dubai.
The gig for MTV India Unplugged will take place on February 17 at Le Méridien Dubai in Garhoud.
With more than three million Facebook fans, playback singer Khurrana can claim to be one of the hottest names in the business today. After years as a TV actor, he made a breakthrough to the big leagues in 2012 starring in smash romcom Vicky Donor – and singing the theme tune, Pani Da Rang, which earned Khurrana an award for Best Male Playback Singer at 58th Filmfare Awards for.
A more established star, respected singer-songwriter Lucky Ali made his mark two decades ago with debut album Sunoh which, propelled by smash hit O Sanam, stayed in the top three of the of MTV Asia Charts for 60 weeks, and earned an award for Best Pop Male Vocalist at the Screen Awards.
The MTV India brand launched in the UAE in 2011, and has hosted various live concerts, including last year’s Next Big Thing talent search.
