Tubelight stars Salman Khan as Laxman, a simple man who lives in northern India in the months leading up to the 1962 Sino-Indian war. When his younger brother, Bahrat (Sohail Khan), who is his protector, joins the army, Laxman is left to fend for himself and turns to the head of the local ashram for guidance. Based on the 2015 American film Little Boy, the film also stars Om Puri and Zhu Zhu.
