Stranger Things star Natalia Dyer heading to Comic Con Dubai

Natalia Dyer is the latest addition to MEFCC's celebrity guest list

Natalia Dyer, aka Nancy Wheeler from Netflix's smash hit homage to all things creepy and eighties, Stranger Things, is the latest big name to confirm her appearance at April's Middle East Film and Comic Con 2018. Dyer joins a growing list of celebs and pop culture favourites which already includes the likes of Star Trek and Judge Dredd's Karl Urban and Doctor Who's Karen Gillan.

The event takes place, as usual, at Dubai World Trade Centre from April 7-8. Dyer will be able to catch up with her employers while she’s here too - Netflix have also confirmed that they will be making their MEFCC debut with a stand at this year’s show.

Over at the Cosplay Stage, meanwhile, international cosplay star Alodia Gosiengfiao will be judging the Huawei Cosplay Competition, which this year is adding a new Marvel Cosplay category to the mix. Three new voice actors have also been added to the list of happenings, and will be bringing something a little different to the show. Rather than the usual fan meet and greet or Q & A, Ray Chase (Noctis in Final Fantasy 5, Subway Announcer in Persona 5), Robbie Daymond (SwaySway in Breadwinners) and Max Mittelman (Saitama in One-Punch Man) will be performing a comedy skit for fans.
