At this point, we’ve all spent hours, sometimes days, and even entire weekends lounging out and watching Netflix. It’s hard to resist when each new episode starts automatically.

The fact that Netflix seemingly adds at least one new show every week to its already vast collection means that you have to spend a healthy chunk of your leisure time watching its output. Otherwise you risk falling behind.

But how much time have subscribers spent watching Netflix’s most popular original shows over the last decade?

Orange Is The New Black (the third most binged show on Netflix) took up the most time of its viewers, with its 7 seasons and 91 episodes having a combined running time of 3 days, 18 hours, and 21 minutes. Fans of the prison comedy drama who had to endure the underwhelming fifth and sixth seasons will probably want to forget that those 26 episodes alone cost them 22 hours and 50 minutes, though. Especially if they watched all of season six on the day it was released onto Netflix, because instead of doing that on July 27, 2018, you could be watching the longest total lunar eclipse of the 21st century. Priorities, guys.

You'll only need 21 hours and 49 minutes to watch all three seasons and 25 episodes of Stranger Things (the number one most binged Netflix show), though, leaving you two hours and 11 minutes of the day to try and figure out which genre the sci-fi, action-adventure, horror actually belongs to. Make sure to do so soon, too, as its creators The Duffer Brothers have already confirmed that Netflix's most popular show will eventually return for at least a fourth, and probably a fifth, season.

Meanwhile, grieving Marvel fans will need 1 day, 9 hours and 7 minutes to appreciate all 39 episodes of Jessica Jones, before then spending another 22 hours and 51 minutes commemorating the death of The Punisher after just 26 installments. There's nearly 6 straight days worth of superhero action to devour from Netflix's Marvel contingent. That means that you'd have to fly around the world just short of three times in order to be able to watch every episode in a row on a plane.

Or you can just spend 49 hours and 56 minutes watching all 23 films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

You will need a full 14 days and 3 hours for all 31 seasons and 673 episodes of 'The Simpsons'

If you're after something a little more macabre, you will only need 21 hours and 31 minutes for all 22 episodes of Black Mirror, about half of which we think are actually worth your time, while the recently added You is as equally twisted and demented, and clocks in at just 15 hours and 29 minutes over 20 episodes.

Or you could just take 27 hours and 30 minutes to see Queer Eye's 37 episodes, all of which are perfect and should immediately help to make you a better person.

But if you're tired of Netflix, and don't face spending two days, one hour, and 57 minutes watching 67 episodes of Lucifer, or one day, 12 hours and 51 minutes on 39 episodes of 13 Reasons Why, you could always click elsewhere. The Sopranos' 86 episodes will take you around three days and 14 hours, 180 episodes of Seinfeld will require three days, 18 hours and 30 minutes, while you will need a full 14 days and three hours for all 31 seasons and 673 episodes of The Simpsons.
