Auditions for the children’s talent show Kidz Starz are set to close at the end of the week, on Thursday October 29.
Hundreds of youngsters from across the UAE are expected to compete in the upcoming contest, which kicks off a fourth edition at Dubai Festival City a day later, on Friday October 30.
Registration is currently open to 6-15-years-olds, who can apply to audition in one of three categories: singing, dancing, or the new “Z Factor” section, open to any other skill of talent.
Shortlisted contestants will then be invited to compete in live stage auditions on October 30-31 and November 6-7, before the finals on November 13-14. Virgin Radio judges Kris Fade, Priti Malik and Brent Black will crown one winner in each of the three categories.
Get to the mall’s central Festival Square before Thursday October 29 to register.
Elsewhere, kids of all ages have the opportunity to perform onstage at the Kidz Starz Community showcases, taking place from November 1-5 and 8-12.
Youngsters aged between 3-10 yards can take part in a Kidz Starz Workshop, including prop-making, face-painting and more. Head to the mall for further details.
