Another major Bollywood movie has been filming in the UAE. Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor's 2020 movie, Street Dancer 3D, has now wrapped, following two weeks of filming in Dubai's Dubai Parks and Resorts' Bollywood Park and Riverland.

Though the end of the Dubai leg will likely come as a welcome relief following an intense two weeks of filming in the heat, it seems that the cast and crew want to keep going. In fact, star Varun Dhawan shared a video on Instagram from the set, with his cast mates shouting in chorus, "We don't want to go home."

Dhawan shared a second post, writing, “Last day of the Dubai schedule with an amazing team,” and tagged Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, Prabhu Deva and Remo D'Souza.

A large part of the film, which is set for a January 2020 release, was filmed in Dubai. The movie is directed by choreographer Remo D'Souza, and will be a sequel to the two-part ABCD: Any Body Can Dance series.

The all-singing, all-dancing movie was shot in London before coming to Dubai. While in the UAE the cast and crew faced temperatures of almost 40°C. It’s thought that up to three songs were shot AC-free at Riverland, Dubai Parks and Resorts.

Incidentally, the last time Dhawan was in the country for professional reasons was to shoot a cameo for Salman Khan's Bharat, which released this week.

Director D'Souza will be sticking around in the UAE to serve on the judging panel of Dansation Arabia, a regional contest for aspiring dancers aged between six and 21 years. The semi-final is taking place on the weekend of June 7, and the finale will be on June 12.
