Open call to be part of this year’s March Meetings

Sharjah Art Foundation (SAF) has announced an open call for correspondents to attend the eighth annual March Meeting (MM), taking place in May.

Applications are welcome from artists, writers and researchers working on topics related to Sharjah Biennial 12 – opening next month under the title: The Past, The Present, The Possible.

Anyone wishing to contribute in the form of an article, a fictional narrative or essay may submit 1500-3000 words to the foundation. Image-based contributions in the form of a photo essay or edited video are also accepted.

Selected correspondents are expected to attend all sessions of MM 2015, and must submit their finalised contributions within 30 days of its conclusion.

This is an interesting chance to be part of the March Meetings, which are the discussion forum that runs alongside the Sharjah Biennial as well as a great opportunity to network.

A total of five correspondents will be selected. If you wish to be considered please complete the application form on the SAF website – www.sharjahart.orgYou must attach a sample relevant to your proposal and send all material to marchmeeting@sharjahart.org

* The deadline is March 4 and the March Meetings will run from May 11-16.
