Lasting Impressions features seven decades of works by the Egyptian artist George Bahgory

The Egyptian artist George Bahgory presents Lasting Impressions, an exhibition at the Sharjah Art Museum of more than 80 works, some dating back to the 1950s when he was a student. His art, which come in a variety of media, is a combination of classic and contemporary styles, often with a comical twist.

Considered the spiritual father of Egyptian caricature, Bahgory is also a sculptor, novelist, an actor and he writes children’s books.
