Zayn Malik and girlfriend Gigi Hadid are proving to be fashion's newest power couple. Hadid was in Dubai earlier this week to promote her Tommy X Gigi partnership with Tommy Hilfiger, and now Malik has just revealed that he is joining forces with Versus Versace.
The capsule collection, titled Zayn X Versus (surprise) will include both menswear and womenswear, and will arrive in Versus stores around the globe starting May 2017. The pop star has also signed on with the brand to star in its upcoming spring/summer 2017 advertising campaign.
Malik will be working closely with Donatella Versace to design the collection.
“I think Versus has always been a very cool brand. It’s a great brand for me and for people in my generation,” says the singer. “I’ve always wanted to design clothes, and there’s no brand I’d rather design for than Versus. The bonus is that I get to collaborate with Donatella, whom I love and admire. I know we’ll create something amazing.”
