New Brazil president Jair Bolsonaro addressed his nation after being sworn - but it was his wife, Michelle, who stole the show.

The 38-year-old gave her first speech as First Lady in sign language, with a great reaction from the thousands in the crowd.

Mr Bolsonaro meanwhile plans to realign Brazil internationally, moving away from developing-nation allies and closer to the policies of Western leaders, particularly US President Donald Trump, who sent Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to his inauguration.

Mr Trump congratulated Bolsonaro in a Twitter message, writing "The USA is with you".
