RAS AL KHAIMAH // An explosion inside a wardrobe that left a child with several burns was among five small fires in the emirate in recent days.
The Civil Defence Department in Ras Al Khaimah confirmed the explosion in a house in the Al Golan area on Wednesday, which led to the child suffering various burns and damaged the property’s roof.
On Thursday, a fire broke out in a labour camp that caused material damages, though no one was injured.
Three other fires occurred at different locations on Friday but all were dealt with swiftly to avoid any of them spreading.
