ABU DHABI // Sunday will be partly cloudy at times, with light to moderate winds freshening temperatures in the afternoon over the sea and exposed areas.
Temperatures will reach 44°C inland, 41°C on the coast, and 35°C in the mountains according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.
Temperatures are forecast to gradually decrease by night.
Humidity levels will increase to 85 per cent in coastal areas, and will hover between 50 and 70 per cent inland, and between 30 and 50 per cent in the mountains.
North-westerly winds could reach 28kph over the coast with bursts reaching 32kph at times. Gusts in internal areas and in the mountains are both set to reach 34kph.
The sea will be slight to moderate, becoming rough by evening in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
Over the next two days, there will be moderate to fresh winds over the sea, which will kick up dust over exposed areas and reduce visibility.
There will be another drop in temperature on Monday, while the relative humidity will increase by Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning over some areas. Fog and mist may form.
