Forecasters say it's going stay hot and humid through the weekend, with increasing winds bringing dust to some areas.

Fair weather is predicted for Thursday, with some clouds gathering over eastern and southern areas of the country, and humidity increasing in the morning and evening. There will be a chance of fog in northern areas in the morning

Temperatures are expect to stay in the mid 30s for most of the country, dropping down to 20°C in the mountains.

For the weekend, the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology says we can expect these conditions to continue, with humidity at the beginning and end of the day, and scattered fog patches over a wider area by Friday and Saturday.

Winds will be light to moderate at first, but getting stronger on Friday in the west, especially over the sea. Blowing dust is likely to cause poor visibility in exposed areas.

Boaters are warned that seas could become rough over western areas of the Arabian Gulf by Friday daytime, and will be moderate to slight in Oman Sea.
