DUBAI // Motorists were urged to be careful this morning as an increase in fog threatened to reduce visibility on roads.
Forecasters at the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology in Abu Dhabi said visibility could be as low as 500 metres, particularly inland.
Fresh winds will result in rough conditions in the Arabian Gulf coast and the Oman Sea.
Partly cloudy weather is expected in general, with clouds over some northern and eastern areas, the forecast said.
The relative humidity is likely to increase during the night and early morning over interior areas, with a possibility of fog or mist forming over some interior areas, especially to the west.
Temperatures along the coast will range from 23°C to 27°C and 24°C to 28°C inthe interior.
Winds along the coast could be as high as 24 kilometres an hour and 20kph in inland.
Similar conditions will persist into Friday.
