The days will continue to be hot but cool down in the evenings.

Light to moderate winds and an increase of clouds over eastern areas in the afternoon will cool temperatures slightly, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.

Humidity will increase overnight and into Tuesday morning, reaching 95 per cent along the coast and inland.

Coastal areas are expected to have a maximum temperature of 38°C and minimum of 25°C, while internal areas are forecast to peak at 42°C and drop as low as 24°C.

Rain fell in Al Badayer, a desert area in Sharjah, on Monday.
