UAE weather: High temperatures to continue

ABU DHABI // Hot weather will continue during the upcoming days, meteorologists have said.

Sunday and Monday will be partly cloudly to cloudy in western areas, the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said.

The weather will be hot to relatively hot during the daytime and temperate at night, while the sea will become rough by evening in the west.

Tuesday will be partly cloudy with light to moderate winds in general, while temperatures will tend to decrease.

The temperature will average between 27 to 39°C in coastal areas and 25 to 45°C in internal areas.

The Arabian Gulf will be rough at times with moderate seas by evening and slight to moderate in the Sea of Oman. Humidity will increase during the night and early morning over some internal and coastal areas

Meteorologists also said that an earthquake with a 6.0 magnitude had hit the north Pacific Ocean yesterday at 8.51pm.
