Weather warnings for “blowing” sand and dust causing poor visibility were cleared as winds died down overnight.
This followed warnings issued on Sunday of rough seas with waves reaching eight feet in the Arabian Gulf.
Sunday’s highest temperatures were found in Owtaid and Mukhariz at 29.6°C, according to the Centre for Meteorology and Seismology.
Monday is predicted to be another cloudy and hazy day with falling temperatures, though humidity is set to increase overnight.
Winds are set to rise again, with more chances of poor visibility and mist and fog formation over internal areas.
The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will continue to see rough conditions.
