After early morning fog in Abu Dhabi, UAE skies are expected to be partially cloudy on Monday.
Light to moderate winds are also expected in the afternoon across the sea, reported the National Centre for Meteorology and Semiology.
During night hours, there will be an increase in relative humidity, with a chance of fog/mist formation, especially over the internal western areas.
Mist over Al Ain at early dawn developed into fog at 6.26am. Patches of fog were reported over Al Maktoum International Airport at 5.30am and fog also covered Sweihan at early dawn.
In Madinat Zayed and surrounding areas, fog started to form around 2.30am.
The centre warned drivers to use caution as fog can lead to poor visibility on the roads.
The fog and mist formation is expected to continue on Tuesday with chances of rain in eastern and northern areas.
While the sea is expected to remain moderate, it could get rough in the Arabian Gulf in the evening.
