ABU DHABI // Fog is expected to form over some western parts of the country during the late and early hours this weekend but overall fair to partly cloudy weather will prevail on Thursday and through National Day weekend.
Temperatures are set to reach 30°C along the coast and dip down to 16°C at night, said forecasters from the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology in Abu Dhabi.
Inland areas should see a high of 33°C and lows of 14°C while higher altitude areas will experience a maximum of 24°C and minimum of 11°C.
The highest temperature in the country on Wednesday was 32.1°C in Sweihan at 1.45pm.
Winds along the coast and inland could reach 30kph and 32kph in the mountains.
Conditions in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will remain slight to moderate, only becoming rougher on Saturday night.
Conditions are expected to stay fair to partly cloudy through the holiday weekend, offering firework gazers a good chance of clear viewing.
