Traffic is at a standstill on some of the busiest roads across the UAE this morning.

Traffic is not moving on Malaka Street in Sharjah, while many of the surrounding streets, including long stretches of E11 Al Itihad Street, as well as Al Nahda Street past the Sahara Centre and the Sharjah Ring Road are also slow moving. There are also tailbacks on the E311 Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road, where it is slow moving past National Paints Factory, as usual.

In Dubai, cars are at a standstill on the D68 Al Khail Street near the Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf Dubai and on the D92 Al Wasl Road near the Jumeirah Archaeological Site Athar. In Abu Dhabi, traffic was slow on the E22 Abu Dhabi/Al Ain Road past Abu Dhabi Motors and at stretches of Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street near Eastern Mangroves Hotel and further up near Delma Park.
