UAE Embassy in Thailand releases warning following blasts

At least four people were killed and dozens wounded in a series of coordinated explosions targeting some of Thailand’s most popular resort cities and beach towns Thursday and Friday.

The UAE Embassy in Bangkok urged Emiratis in Hua Hin near Bangkok to remain indoors after three explosions in the area.

No UAE nationals were among the victims.

Saif Abdullah Mohammed Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Thailand, said the Embassy was following the situation in coordination with the Thai authorities to reassure UAE citizens living, working or holidaying there.
