DUBAI // Two people were killed and four people were injured in a number of road accidents in the emirate over the weekend. On Friday at 2.45pm, a Kuwaiti man sustained moderate injuries after his car rolled over on Sheikh Zayed Road near Saih Shuaib Bridge.
At 2am on Saturday, two vehicles collided and hit a pedestrian on Al Qudra Road. The accident resulted in one serious and one moderate injury.
At 6pm on Saturday, a car rolled over on Emirates Road near Al Ruwayyah bridge, killing the driver. Five lanes had to be closed after diesel leaked from the vehicle. On Sunday at 3.30am, a pedestrian was killed on Mohammed bin Zayed Road after being hit by a vehicle.
Then, about 7.30am on Sunday, another pedestrian was seriously injured in a run-over accident on Amman Road.
