Two arrested for Fujairah battery theft

Fujairah police have arrested two Pakistani men who are though to have stolen the batteries from at least five trucks.

FUJAIRAH // Police in Fujairah police caught two Pakistani men who were attempting to steal a truck’s battery, following reports about other thefts from parked vehicles in the emirate.

They both admitted to stealing batteries from five trucks in Fujairah and to other heists in other emirates.

They later sold the batteries to scrap shops.

The director of Police Operations Colonel Hamid Mohammed Al Yammahi praised CID officers for their diligence and called on truck owners not to park their vehicles unattended in public areas.
