A man was killed in Khor Fakkan port on Sunday when he was ran over by a crane ran while working the evening shift.
Port security reported the incident to public prosecution in Khor Fakkan, which ordered the body to be taken to Khor Fakkan hospital to be examined by the coroner and for the investigation to begin. The crane driver confessed to manslaughter claiming it was too dark at the location and he couldn't see the man, reported Al Ittihad, the Arabic language sister paper of The National.
