DUBAI // Congestion plagued roads in the emirate on Monday morning as accidents worsened the usual rush hour traffic.
Motorists were faced with long tailbacks on Al Ittihad Road from Al Nahda in Sharjah to Dubai International Airport.
An accident on Nad Al Hamar Road towards the airport tunnel also caused delays.
Two accidents between First Al Khail Street and Al Sarayat Street were reported.
Motorists also faced congestion on Sheikh Zayed Road towards Abu Dhabi.
In the capital, traffic was reported on Salam Street and on Khaleej Al Arabi Street towards Abu Dhabi Corniche.
