UAE traffic: accidents cause congestion in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah

DUBAI // Three accidents reported the emirate, including two on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and one on Al Khail Road, caused tailbacks for commuters on Thursday.

The crashes took place off the Dubai Investments Park intersection, near Al Furjan area and Al Barari community.

In the capital, an accident was reported near Al Raha Gardens.

Heavy traffic was also reported on Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Street near Dhafeer Street and Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Road off Ajban Road.

Congestion in Dubai was reported in the Airport Tunnel, Dubai Investments Park, Dubai Marina area, Al Barsha near the Hessa Street Exit, Discovery Gardens and in the Green Community roundabout sector.

In Sharjah, traffic was at a crawl on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road near Industrial Area 13, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street and King Faisal Street.
