Two new express bus services will begin operating in Abu Dhabi on Friday, including one that has been launched as part of the Year of Tolerance.

The Integrated Transport Centre announced the launch of the X09 bus, which connects passengers to a number of churches in the Mushrif vicinity.

The Friday-only service will operate from the Abu Dhabi's main bus station to churches in the area, at 30-minute intervals. The service will run from 6am to 9pm.

The second route, the X10 service, will facilitate passengers travelling between Mohammed bin Zayed City and Al Zahiya air terminal.

It will operate daily from 6am to 10pm, every 60 minutes.

The additional services have been introduced as part of ITC’s efforts to improve the connectivity between different areas in Abu Dhabi via public transport means.
