DUBAI // Two indians were killed in a collision between a vehicle and a heavy truck on the Sharjah-Al Dhaid road. The accident was caused due to excessive speed and failure to observe a safe distance between vehicles, said Sharjah Police.
The truck was driving on the right side of the road carrying 70 tonnes of construction materials when a speeding vehicle came up behind it. The speeding driver tried to avoid a collision but ran into the truck, killing himself and his passenger, reported Al Ittihad, the Arabic language sister paper of The National.
