Drivers who cause deaths by running red lights at tramline junctions will face fines of between Dh10,000 and Dh30,000.
Crossing a red light at the junction and causing an accident that injures someone will land motorists a fine of between Dh5,000 and Dh15,000.
Running a red light at a junction without causing an accident risks a fine ranging from Dh2,000 to Dh5,000, reported the state news agency Wam.
