The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority recently approved the asphalting of two main roads that pass through Al Baraha as a first phase of a project that aims to pave all internal roads.

Helal Al Naqbi, head of the Municipal Council in Kalba, said work has also begun on main roads in the area and large parts of the paving works have already been completed on two roads.

Al Baraha resident Shamis Abdullah Al Zaabi said: “We thank the government of Sharjah for its efforts in asphalting all roads and wish to see such works completed on all internal roads.

“Al Baraha features over 10 kilometres of internal roads and intersections and we would like to see Sharjah RTA complete works on these roads and adopt their asphalting plans.”
