RAS AL KHAIMAH // Seven people were injured in a crash in RAK on Tuesday morning, police have said.

Four Asians suffered minor to moderate injuries, while three passengers sustained injuries varying in severity.

Col Ali Saeed Al Elkum, acting director of the Traffic and Patrols Department of Ras Al Khaimah Police, said the crash was caused by tailgating.

He said NK, 44, was driving his lorry on Mohammed bin Zayed Road in the right lane when a pickup truck hit his vehicle from behind.
