Ramadan timings for Dubai public transport announced

DUBAI // Timings for bus, metro and tram services in Dubai plus opening hours for the Roads and Transport Authority’s customer service, vehicle check-up and registration centres during the month of Ramadan have been announced.

Moza Al Marri, head of Marketing and Corporate Communication, said customer service centres in Umm Ramool, Al Barsha, Deira and Al Karama will be open from 9am to 2pm, while the Al Twar Al Manara and Al Awir centres will be open from 9am to 5pm; Jumeirah GPR centre will be open from 10am to 3pm.

Ms Al Marri added that public buses services will start at 5am and end at 12am at the Gold Souk and Ghubaiba stations.

In subsidiary stations, such as Al Qusais, Satwa, Al Quoz Industrial and Jebel Ali, buses will run 5.30am to 10.30pm

Other stations will operate from 5am to 12.30am, except for Route C01, which operates around-the-clock.

Metro Feeder Stations, such as Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirate, Ibn Battuta, Burj Khalifa-Dubai Mall, Abu Hail and Etisalat, will open from 5.15am to 12.30am Saturday to Wednesday, and from 5.15am to 1am on Thursdays and Fridays.

Red Line stations will be open from Saturday to Wednesday from 5.30am to 12am.

On Thursdays, the service will start at 5.30am and end at 1am, while on Fridays, trains will run from 1pm to 1am.

All Green Line stations will be open Saturday to Wednesday from 5.50am to 12am, on Thursdays from 5.30am to 1am and 1pm to 1am on Fridays.

The Dubai Tram will operate Saturday to Thursday from 6.30am to 1.30am. On Fridays it will open at 9am and close at 1.30am.
