DUBAI // A man died and two others were injured in a crash on Tuesday between two lorries and a pick-up.
The 51-year-old driver of the pick-up truck, described by Dubai Police as Asian, died. The lorry drivers, who were also Asian, sustained moderate injuries.
The vehicles collided early in the morning on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road towards Sharjah, at the exit of Al Houdh roundabout, said Maj Ali Al Naqbi, an officer at the Dubai Police search and rescue department.
The pick-up truck driver died at the scene of the crash. The injured drivers were given first aid and taken to hospital.
Maj Al Naqbi urged motorists to exercise caution while driving.
