UMM AL QUWAIN // An Emirati woman had to be cut free from her car after it crashed into an iron barrier on Emirates Road on Thursday morning.
Teams from UAQ Civil Defence and ambulances crews used specialist rescue equipment to help the injured woman who suffered minor injuries in the accident, an official at the civil defence said.
The woman was taken to Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital in UAQ for treatment.

Housed on the same site as the original Africa Hall, which first hosted an Arab-African Symposium in 1976, the newly renovated building will be home to a think tank and postgraduate studies hub (it will offer master’s and PhD programmes).
