Emirati man dies in RAK car accident

RAS AL KHAIMAH // A 25-year-old Emirati man has died after crashing into the back of a lorry in the early hours of this morning.

F N J died instantly when he rammed into the back of a lorry driven by 39-year-old Asian man A K K at 6.15am on Al Saadi Road on Thursday.

Colonel Ali Saeed Al Alkeem, head of the traffic and patrols department at RAK Police, said the distance between the Emirati's vehicle and the lorry was insufficient and the lorry driver was surprised by the car colliding with his vehicle.

Police and ambulance vehicles rushed to the scene upon receiving the report but the Emirati motorist was already dead and the lorry driver suffered no injuries.
