Emirates Transport employee honoured for returning D1m worth in lost items

Abdullah Abdul Baset, who works as a technician at the Emirates Technical Services Centre in Dubai, was praised for his honesty and integrity.

DUBAI // An Emirates Transport employee working in Dubai has been honoured for returning about Dh1 million worth in lost items.

Mohammed Al Jarman, director-general of Emirates Transport, honoured employee Abdullah Abdul Baset, who works as a technician at the Emirates Technical Services Centre in Dubai, for his honesty and integrity.

Mr Abdul Baset handed in a variety of lost items that he had found in a customer’s vehicle when he was repairing it following an accident.

Mr Al Jarman praised the employee’s conduct, saying it reflected his professionalism.
