The Dubai metro service was disrupted on Monday following an accident involving a lorry and a vehicle on the bridged intersection near the Jebel Ali metro station.
The tyre of the lorry fell on the metro’s viaduct, which caused damages to the rail, said the Road and Transport Authority.
“RTA announced today a disruption of the metro service in the direction from Rashidiya to Jebel Ali, Danube and Energy Stations,” tweeted the RTA, adding that the service was fully operational in the two directions.
The RTA provided a shuttle bus service and taxis between the affected stations.
