Beginning on Monday, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will offer branded license plates featuring the Dubai brand. The plates will be optional, and the RTA would be the first government entity to promote the brand.
Ahmed Bahrozyan, executive director at the RTA’s licensing agency, stressed support for the efforts of the government in promoting the use of the Dubai brand.“This is why we developed an innovative design for private vehicle license plates during Gitex, creating an opportunity to introduce the new Dubai brand to companies, individuals and visitors from around the world,” he said.
“The plates are luxurious and feature the new Dubai Brand in an innovative way through Digital Printing that is not affected by different weather conditions. Its colours will highlight the beauty of the logo and enhance that of the vehicle dramatically”, he added, pointing out that the cost for front and rear plates is Dh420.
