42 new buses join RTA fleet in Dubai

New public buses are more environmentally friendly and comply with Euro 5 standards.

DUBAI // Plans have been approved by the Roads and Transport Authority to replace 42 public buses with newer, modern versions.

The current Public Transport Agency has 1,300 buses from a range of manufacturers, which collectively operate for 18 hours a day.

The new buses comply with Euro 5 standards making their engines more efficient and environmentally friendly.
