DUBAI // The work of the Social Family Council has been praised by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development.
The council is an initiative launched by Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood.
Speaking during the sixth international conference of protecting children against sexual harassment, which started on Monday, Sheikh Nahyan said Sheikha Fatima worked tirelessly to support child care and Emirati family development, state news agency Wam reported.
The SFC is part of a wider framework of efforts to preserve Emirati family and develop it as cornerstone of sustainable development.
