SHARJAH // The ninth edition of the Sharjah Water Festival will be held on December 16 at the Al Majaz Waterfront and Khalid Lagoon.
The four-day event will include the power boat World Championship Grand Prix of Sharjah, to take place on Khalid Lagoon between December 17 and 20.
There will also be carnivals, stage shows, a jet-ski school, power bike races and a heritage village in addition to activities featuring Mouj, the festival’s mascot.
“Now in its ninth year, the Sharjah Water Festival has established itself as one of the most important tourism attractions in the emirate,” said Khalid Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority. Activities will take place between 4pm and 11pm.
