SHARJAH // Bookworms can find a bargain at the upcoming used book fair.
The sixth edition of the fair will be held in Al Nakheel Park on Khalid Corniche in Sharjah and will start on February 23.
The five-day event will have more than 150,000 titles available, and it supports the Year of Reading initiative from President Sheikh Khalifa.
Organisers said the 150,000 books figure will likely increase as the fair approaches. They are still accepting book donations.
The majority of the books will be priced between Dh3 and Dh20, with topics varying from literature, fiction, religion, science, history and geography, as well as children’s books, in both Arabic and English.
Money generated from the fair will be used to enhance humanitarian services offered in Sharjah city.
