Prisoners in Ajman, UAQ released for Eid

The rulers of Ajman and Umm Al Quwain announced an amnesty to enable eligible prisoners to spend the holiday with their families.

Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has ordered the release of 68 prisoners as a gesture for Eid Al Adha. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain has also ordered the release of a number of prisoners. The amnesty covers those who have exhibited good conduct and behaviour during their jail terms. The release will enable the prisoners to join their families to celebrate the holiday.
