DUBAI // There were no drownings off the Dubai coast during the Eid al Adha holiday, Major Ali Abdullah Al Qaseeb Al Naqbi, head of marine rescue at Dubai Police’s general department of transport, said.
Maj Al Naqbi said Dubai Police had successfully implemented its “Accident-Free Eid” campaign, despite the heavy turnout along various beachesand parks in the emirate.
He praised beachgoers for observing safety instructions and directions issued by Dubai police and municipality.
